What a load of ***** that was againon Satdy, Sunderland didnt even get out of 1st gear to beat us.
We almost held on for a 1-0 defeat bit we let a 2nd one in late on , I bet Davey was gutted.
I havent seen the goals , but 1st looked like it went through Colgans hands , and for all this being a "shot stopper" both shots looked stoppable.
Raczji could well be the new Paul Hayes, utterly anonymous again. I can only assume he has played in sides that at least attempt to go forward with the ball.

Don't say any of that, get behind them, cheering owt makes all the difference you know For me, to beat a top side, you need to work very hardf and deny them time and space all over the field. We patently failed to do that IMHO
I am all for getting behind the team , however when we set up with 10 men behind the ball every game and just hump
it and hope for the best its quite difficult.
I can only hope that Davey has got a few pairs of lucky pants still to wear before the end of the season.

RE: As I said when pissed No need to worry - I believe the experts on here, so Leeds are down, obviously.
RE: As I said when pissed It looks that way. I'm sorry but McCann looked lost on Saturday. For me (and this will not be popular) Dale Tonge could do a better job, or at least tackle harder
RE: As I said when pissed I take comfort in the fact we cannot be caught by a team 4 points behind us.
RE: As I said when pissed Correct. It's an impossibility. Even though they've got two winnable fixtures this week while we're looking at 0 points.
What makes it worse is that we finally have a striker who can head the ball and has scored from crosses in his past few games so what do we do, try our utmost not to cross the ball. Both full backs were once again shocking on saturday, they have no positional sesnse what so ever. Game after game for months now teams come and target our full backs, why? because there sh*t thats why.
RE: As I said when pissed McCann was out of his depth Saturday. Couldn't get near the ball or to make a tackle. If we're going to persist with Howard on the left, then at least try Ritchie Jones - he looked mobile and seemed to have the ability to make a forward pass and turn with the ball.
RE: What makes it worse is that Try clapping Hecko blindly. See if it makes one haporth o' difference my bet is it won't. Four goals in two games. Clap on
RE: As I said when pissed Our forward passing consisted solely of the big boot hoping for Istvan to create summat.
RE: As I said when pissed We'll be fine. By hoofing the ball long.
Praying we stop up, but imho the coach/manager/dossier dr isn't up to it. Hope I'm wrong.

RE: What makes it worse is that Agreed. Id rather see McCann have a go at left back and then we can move Howard into the middle and put Reid out wide. Reid does look like the only player who canbeat a man and get a cross into the box first time which we should be doing all the time. Sick of getting down to the touchline then turning round and passing the ball back to either Austin or Hecky to give it away with a poor cross.
RE: What makes it worse is that I'd be half inclined in some games now to put five in the middle of the park Either way, we afforded Sunderland afr too much time on the ball IMHO. Not enough graft, not enough guile
Should we try 3 at the back? We are clearly one dimensional going forward. The opposition have sussed that we will try to feed Devaney. Howard is not as effective on the left, and we lack creativity with him missing from the middle. If you play 3 at the back, you need an alert keeper who will come off his line. GK Lucas LCB Natanga CB Reid RCB Hassell Togwell and McCann would have to be defensively set up to protect the back 3. This allows Howard to be more attacking/ creative RM Devaney DMF Togwell AMF Howard DMF McCann LM K Reid ST Pete ST Steve Can I have a pro badge now?
RE: Should we try 3 at the back? you can't play without fullbacks... oh we do already
I don't see too much wrong with what you suggest, at least it would put width in the team.
