Can we still be relegated if we win on Saturday

    if the following happens on saturday then we are down no matter what we do

    Charlton draw
    Brum win
    Donny win
    Millwall win

    then we are down.... that would give all those teams 46 points... we can only make it to 45.

    Watch the goal dif and goals scored column. Win both we wil be ok.

    Suspect if we did then Doncaster and Blackpool succumb.

    I've just looked at the fixtures and I also reckon that if we win both our games Donny will be the ones to go down with Blackpool. If ever we've needed back to back wins...

    This is the maximum amount of points each of our rivals can get if we are to pass them (I'm ruling 17-0 wins out of the equation!) by winning both our games:

    Charlton - 0 (and we'd need to make an additional 2 goals up over the three games they have left and the two we have left)
    Doncaster - 1
    Millwall - 1
    Birmingham - 1 (but they have 3 games left)
    Blackpool - 2

    So for us two stay up we need to win both our remaining games and hope two of the above five teams get no more points than above. Not impossible, because it is likely that at least two of those teams won't get what they need. The hardest bit is stopping us being so rubbish and actually getting the wins we need, although if we beat Boro I think we'll do it. I just wouldn't bet on us beating Boro...

    That's right, so we'll be hoping for a Charlton win then, which is most likely.
