that our little club made it to wembley for the fa cup semi final!, we beat chelsea and liverpool on the way as well, its been a fantastic experience for us all, one that we won't forget, and one we never thought would happen. I for one am proud of what we have achieved, they need us more then ever now to help us avoid relegation so get behind them, including Odejayi! rant over
You make us sound non league, we're a Championship club, maybe not the biggest but nowhere near the smallest.
It's because we beat Liverpool and Chelsea... ...that everyone feels so ****. It's the post "How can we beat two of the world's biggest and best sides, but f**k up against Cardiff" depression. And the sad answer is, because they can score goals, but we can't.
This Season Is A Failure........ but by how much should be judged by if we stay up or not. If we go down it's a massive failure, but if we stay up, I don't think the manager as justified his spending by improving our league form compared to last season.
Well said On the way down yesterday I said to my dad that I've not done bad out my beloved BFC. Born in 1981 they have only spent all but 3 seasons in the top 2 divisions, had a season in the Premiership, I've seen them win at Anfield, draw at Old Trafford and been to Wembley for a play off final and FA Cup Semi and Cardiff for a play-off final. Compare that to my dads life time and from 1951 to me being born - lower league obscurity and attendances of under 3,000
As someone said below.. ..it's the nature of the defeat. If Odejayi incident hadn't happened we'd probably feel like West Brom fans did - decent football but couldnt score. However, the enormity of his miss has tainted everything else. The atmosphere was ***** though.
the amount spent is not that relevant.... ...it's what it's spent on. How much have Bristol City and Stoke spent this season, compared with the Blunts?
