Abuse....Yes the personal abuse that is being leveled at lee johnson and his decision to leave.

Ive never been a fan of his and ive been very vocal and critical of his style of play ...but come on is the abuse necessary that some of you are posting..... no im not becoming the moral board police on here but i do think you let yourselves down and make yourselves out to be pr1cks at times when theres no need....
Good luck to him....whilst i thought he was the wrong man for us i wish him well in his next job

    have to agree with you

if the fella has had a better salary offer then who can blame him for that. Who on here would not move to a new job/position with a better salary if offered. We are left with a decent squad in a healthy league position and a trip to Wembley with a good chance of a nice trophy and a decent cash windfall PLUS the LJ compensation. Lets just kick on and forget him... I still would be delighted to see Bristol relegated and us go up.

He played for Brizzle City for a long time so it's understandable that he would consider it an attractive place to be.

No hard feelings from me, we all need to be dignified and professional in this.

    Good luck Lee.

Ill not slate or name call but i sure as hell wont wish him good luck. He has jumped at first chance just like he did at oldham. I hope he fails miserably and gets the boot within a year. Grass isnt always greener.

Opinions like this are driving me mad.. its a totally different situation in that people aren't miffed he's going they're miffed that he ruined our saturdays for 3 months then didn't bother repaying that with a little loyalty at the first sniff at a new job. It's not a case of professionalism on our part, its a lack of class on his..

I haven't read any of the abuse he has received, but I can't say i'm shocked that he's getting some.

First of all he is an average unproven manager and the club stood by him when no other club would've - he would've been sacked no doubt. He couldn't buy a win and Bristol wouldn't have touched him.

He gets a run under hus belt and jumps at the first opportunity pissing up our backs.

I don'the rate him. Weeks ago I was calling for him to be sacked. I think he owed us more than he gave us. I hope his career bombs and everything he touches turns to *****.

It was the board who stood by him and it was the board who gave Bristol permission to talk to him. Good luck to him I say and I hope he does well.

Where is this personal abuse of Johnson?

He's gone, most aren't arsed or bitter, I know I'm not.

I would be if I was Pat Cryne but apparently he told him (as a friend) to go so there you go.

Yep good luck....if he was brilliant we would all be kicking off.
He hasn't been brilliant but good luck to him larger salary, a club he cares about deeply and a more money (eventually) for players.
