Think he needs more than a life ban from driving.

10 year driving ban and at most 4 1/2 years in jail is absolutely disgusting. He is a danger to everyone, he's driven whilst banned before so a ban means nothing to him.
As for his Family they want locking up and the key throwing away as well.
What must Kirsty's Family have gone through and be going through knowing that if he had been responsible, at best the accident wouldn't have happened but at worst she would have been injured and spent sometime in hospital?

As for using the excuse that he only had the IQ of a 13 year old well I'm offended!

Indeed , although I doubt it,

social services will probs place him with someone who has "previous" with disabled people.

If he had an IQ of 13....

All he'd be able to do is sit and dribble.

Not unlike my self.

He was already f*ckin banned !!

What good would banning him for life do? He clearly doesn't give a flying f*ck!
Personally I like to see him taken up to 10,000 feet in a light aircraft and pitched out onto the nearest slab of concrete. He might just think about the harm he's caused whilst on his way down.

KILLER USED COMPO TO BUY CRASH CAR
By Lucy Thornton

A KILLER driver who refused to call 999 for his dying girlfriend bought the car he crashed with compensation paid to his disabled brother.

Andrew Bennett, 20, was given £5,000 by his mother Linda, 48, even though he was banned and had no licence.

He used the money to buy a Subaru Impreza which he smashed into a tree, fatally injuring Kirsty Cash, 17.

The money came from £3.25million awarded to his brother Philip, 21, brain damaged at birth when his ventilator was switched off.

At the time Linda, of Stannington, Sheffield, said: "We can now give him the life he deserves." Kirsty's dad Stan Cash said yesterday: "That money was for the lad, not for Bennett to enjoy himself. It's sick. If Bennett's mother hadn't given it to him, Kirsty might be alive."

After Bennett crashed he got stepdad Robin Scholes, 39, to collect him and Kirsty in a 4WD car and drive them home where Kirsty died.

Police said yesterday the compensation money was also used to buy the 4WD.

Bennett was jailed indefinitely for manslaughter last week. His mother and Scholes were jailed for six months for trying to cover up the crash.

it's the scum gene - the w@nker who is responsible always lives. Why?

Just shows that non-custodial sentences like rehabilitation orders are a pile of *****.
