Ho ho if you want to pay double the price that it is in our equivalent divisions in germany, spain and italy then yes (all british football not just us).

To be fair, I paid a massive £24 for Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Hoffenheim this weekend. Bloody rip off.

That's it, name calling and abuse, that will get you what you want.

The question was answered i said 'yes'. And i see it will be more expensive to do so than to watch a top flight game in the bundesliga.

I'm not interested in those leagues either. Its manifest why the comparison has been drawn. I find your use and inference of the word 'simple' to be highly offensive also. I thought we had moved on but sadly not.

    It's a sell-out.

Chesterfield have all the north stand and half the west, and the last ticket in the east stand went at 16:37 today.

    so why the hell then...

did you have to even bring up those leagues at all... and just make a Yes or No answer... all this nonsense would have been totally avoided, but then again here we are on the BBS and its all about scoring points ... you win.. be satisfied

I thought Italian and Spanish football were reasonably expensive too?

Not at our level no. I've looked at a couple in germany, italy and spain and can conclude that matchday tickets can be bought for less than half that you would pay in league 1.

    Yes.
However, if you have a printer at home, you can book your ticket online (at a cheaper price), print it off & bring it up with you. If not, you can do the same, but arrange to pick up the ticket from the club on Saturday.

Out of interest, when was the last time you couldn't pay on the gate for a game at oakwell. Ticket only must be few and far between in the last...well ever

I would have thought the one and only time would have been the premier season when all home seats were taken through season tickets?

I live in Germany, and recently paid approximately 6 pounds to watch Bundesliga football.

I was always under the impression Spain and Italy weren't so cheap.

Indeed, it was a pretty stupid question in the first place. His reaction after that was just embarrassing.

The existence of the BBS depends on the weekly 'can you pay on the day' thread.

It's rumored that the internet will explode if this question is not asked at least once a week. We will all plunder into darkness and civilization will be taken over by mechanical beasts similar to that in the Matrix.
