Canadian Midfielder Declares Oakwell Interest

    Canadian midfielder Dwayne de Rosario has reportedly told Canada Sports Channel CSNT that he would love to move to Barnsley. He told the channel he wanted to join a second tier English club, and Barnsley would be his first choice.

    He said: " Ever since I started watching English football I liked the sight of it. I have always wanted to play there and I feel that my performances this year have justified how good a player I am. The EPL does not attract me because the players are paid too much.

    I would love to join a second league team and help them advance up the table. I would like to join Barnsley because they are a good team and they suit my style of play.

    Truthfully I dont think this move will materialize because they probably wont be watching this in England but if I can't move there than I want to move to Toronto."

    This guy looks class and we haven't got a canadian!! Mr Davey Have a word with him, he seems keen to come to Barnsley.

    Odejayi looks class on youtube clips "meanmachine".... but agreed, he does look the part!

    maybe worth a gamble.... buy him and cash in on McCann

    This story is bullshite mate....

    Wikpedia can be amended by anyone.

    The article on wiki was amended to include the BFC bit Today (in fact from around 5pm)

    Then amazingly, the tykes mad website added it to there site at about 7.15.


    Personally, this is a load of Bull.

    Other than those 2 sites, you can not find absolutely anything stating this at all.



    Would be nice though

    I was assuming you saw it and then copied it from there.

    So at least i guessed correctly :)

    still, would be a great signing, although I think it will be too much of a dream
