So you could just walk out of the house and grab a few branches and then put them in a container, add the substance and in a week you would then have something that you could flavour and then eat.

Imagine all farmland and open space becoming a forest. We would all live in a forest.

It would lead to no food bills, reduced energy bills, more woodland for wildlife and the capture of greenhouse gases by trees.
