Not just the club but me! I go to every new ground I haven't been to. Working towards 90 in total but stuck in 80s for years. No new ones these days being in this league for a few years. Often an excuse to save what cash I do have. If we go down I'll skint myself with some real beauties like trips to Crawley and maybe Fleetwood.
Could you not go on loan? They will have to pay your fare and admission or a sizeable contribution, but you never know - they might adopt you if you perform well.
Of current teams: Brentford MK Dons (did National Hockey stadium) Leyton Orient Carlisle Colchester (did Layer Road) Crawley Shrewsbury Stevenage Bournemouth Notts County Anyway hope this thread is redundant and we play at same old grounds again next season!
I'm also generally only going to places I haven't been before, which was why I was annoyed that they brought the Rochdale game forward, when I'd planned to be home from Scotland in time for the Tuesday night! There's none for me in the Championship, but I have been holding out for one of the 4 in the Premiership to drop down. I'm now starting to look at League One, but there's a chance that 2 of the four I haven't been to may get promoted and the other 2 relegated, so it could be a cheap one next year. What me and my mate have done a couple of times though is cross two grounds off in a day when there's a convenient lunchtime fixture and we're away somewhere we don't want to go. A couple of years ago we went to Bury v Rochdale and then hot footed it up to Accrington v Gillingham, whilst last season we went to Notts County v Bury, followed by Burton v Aldershot. We even crossed Bristol Rovers off by dropping in on the Saturday to watch them play Hartlepool (when the Bristol fans spent the second half engaged in some 'banter' with Hartlepool's Mr Nardiello - "w@nker, w@nker what's the score was our favourite!) before going down to Plymouth for our game on the Sunday. We'd have to drop down to League Two really for me to cross the bulk of the missing ones off. Could happen...
Interesting because the only saving grace for me about relegation would be some more interesting away days, cheaper entry, proper away ends and different days out. I'm going to less and less aways in the Championship because of the tired old routine of sitting in the same block of seats at the same bowl-like stadiums year in and year out. Did Covenrty for 6 consecutive years, Derby and Leicester for four years. Boring. That said, the novelty of Yeovil or Crawley away would wear off very rapidly!!!
