At their own game. Wednesday are undisputed champions of the penalty.

It was just about a penalty. Doubt we would have got it. More annoyed that Flint got away with hauling down a Peterborough player who was away and in on goal. Foul and a Red card but somehow the ref missed it

That was a dreadful decision, shockingly described as ‘clever play’ by the commentator.

But Peterborough only have themselves to blame. Not sure what their plan was, maybe they were hoping Wednesday would miss the target all night because a set of traffic cones would’ve defended better for the goals after the pen.

It wasn't a pen. If you knock it past someone and run into them, that's not their fault. We would never get that decision. Wednesday should have been reduced to 10 men too. I hope that's it for bad reffing now and we don't have to suffer it.

We're still in League 1, of course we have to suffer it

Even odder was on the replay it was clear the linesman was bang in line and missed it too.

At least in the final VAR is used. And that’s infallible as we all know

At least Flint will be retrospectively suspended for the final. I mean it would be the right thing to do so...

Wendys deserved the win, only team trying to win. for pen it was only thing to consider was it in box or on line good decision imo

Good luck to Wednesday. Nothing against them. Don't get the tribal hatred. Unless they play us wish them well. Take them over Leeds or Man Utd any day.

Think I will be moving this post to the "It Made Me Laugh" thread.

In any case Retrospective bans are only given for violent conduct like trying to avoid standing on someone and failing. Grabbing someones arm and pulling them back is a denying a goalscoring chance red card not a violent conduct one
