just last week they were our best players and after a couple of games this weekpeople want to get rid of them . . . for fecks sake get a grip because anderson andhalfredson are probably our 2 best players! and they would easily get in most teams in this division.
anderson is by far the best player we have at the club and i dont care where he plays because whenever he does play we are by far a better team and a more exciting team to watch.
before the internationel break everyone was hailing them as the best thing since sliced bread!
some folk on here need to get a reality check and stop bloody moaning about our players . . . afterall we took 3 out of 6 points away from home and that is a good return. fair enough we lost to a late injury time goal . . . but what goes around comes around!

well said Anderson is our most talented player, Halfredsson has only had a few games, give him time to settle FFS he's obviously class. Would like to see Anderson holding in the centre (Def Mid) and Halfredsson pushing forward in the middle (Centre Mid /Att Mid a la Brian Howard). Hamill & JCR wide. I don't think we get best out of Anderson on the right hand side and we should be playing our best two players in their natural positions. Andy Gray & Hume to start also, apart from that Robins seems to have got it all right & we've got the makings of a decent team.
If Robins is going to play players by how their form is, rather than their reputation.. ..then why shouldn't Hallfredsson be dropped? In my opinion, he's been poor in our last two games, and a lot of people on here seem to agree with that. I'm not saying he's a bad player, just that his last two performances have been below par. And about Anderson, I didn't think he was too bad last night and he played well at Donny.
I don't think either of them had a really poor game last night They weren't brilliant, but Forest are a good side, ADS is just about recovered from an injury, and Hallfredsson was on international duty last week, and was injured the week before, it could be a few more weeks before he gets back to his best. We've seen what both of them can do, they were brilliant against Derby, but just seemed a little of the pace last night and got caught out in midfield. Personally i thought we played well last night as a team on the whole, but i just think Forest looked a little stronger than us and much fresher, think they will be in the play-offs by the end of the season so i think we did well to hold them out for so long and get a little unlucky not to get anything out of the game. Roll on Bristol City on saturday.
RE: no ones said get rid? so its ok to drop some players (bogdanovic, jcr, butterfield) but persist with others? not for me it isnt not if they aren't giving 100%
Well, if you are right about 'what goes around, comes around' thenwe should be due a late winner in every other game we play this season.... ...FFS, since we got into the Prem 12 years ago, I bet we've lost/drawn to late goals say on average half a dozen games each season. Yet the late crucial goals we get, I can count on one hand over the same period.
RE: If Robins is going to play players by how their form is, rather than their reputation.. ADS changed the course of the game at Doncaster. He kept the ball and did something with it, which we had failed miserably to do for the previous hour.
RE: If Robins is going to play players by how their form is, rather than their reputation.. That is very unfair on Butterfield, who IMO had a bigger impact on the Donny game.
I have my views on Anderson but they haven't been formed over the last two games. Despite his undoubted skill, he largely flatters to deceive - he doesn't make anywhere near the contribution that (say) Darren Moore makes - so I wouldn't put him our "top 2 players" at this stage.. I think between now and Christmas is crucial for him, because he needs a run in the team and a chance to show the new manager just what he can do. I've hardly seen anything of Halfredson (and he's coming back from injury), so no comment to make.
