Cant beleive what i just heard.....

A family of Barnsley season ticket holders after the Wednesday game decided to start watching Sheffield United, they went on Saturday and are going tonight aswell......Lost for words, there even considering getting United season tickets all because 'Simon Davey is still manager' fecking ridiculus, we should be backing the lads through thick and thin!

Beleive what you like, and yes they gave the Coventry game a miss because Uniteds game was only a quid to get in, now there planning on paying 23 pound to get in tonight and watch the blunts. Apparently there football is much more attractive.....

I know the daughter of the family is 19 and she goes with her other sister, her dad and her grandad so i would imagine they have all been season ticket holders for a while, but i dont know that for sure so i cant really say.

 

So that's 4 adult season ticket holders all willing to throw

away their cash. Must be pretty well off!

 

Bloke I used to work with...

...did exactly the same after our relegation to Division One. Him and his lad have been Blunts' season ticket holders ever since.

Like you say they probably would come straight back down if they did get up, but these kind of people just want to see success and they think Sheff Utd offer them a better chance of that than we do.

At this moment in time I dont think that any South Yorkshire Championship side have an outstanding chance of going up.

Yep and we also had someone saying on here that they were off to support Leicester. They got relegated the same season.

 

They will prob be Wednesday fans as well ...
