On about us not signing enough players. Wednesday my birthday we signed Sam Togwell. Excellent signing. Thursday morning signed McIndoe. Brill. Thursday night my Grandad died. (EVERYTHING PALES INTO INSIGNIFICANCE)
RE: Now being a not too regular poster... I've read it - well put, if I may say so, and deepest sympathies.
RE: Thanks mate No trouble. Some people should look at your post and take great comfort that all they've lost is a goalkeeper. Chin up, chest out, and carry the memories with you.
Will do. 85 years old, still went before his time. My dad called up on Monday, he's up in his back garden chopping wood up. My dad sez what you doing, grandad says he's chopping wood up for the old folk! Probably all younger than him!
Met an Hungarian Palace fan from Peel (IoM) earlier. He was moaning about the loss of Togwell. He left quite pleased, though, as I told him they'd got one of the best young goalkeepers in the country, though. He hoped Scott would be able to get in quickly as he didn't seem too happy with Kirally(sp?).
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It's terrible to suffer the death of a relative, more so when they are still living life to the full. When my Dad died he had just built his new bar-be-cue and been playing around with my children in his back garden, went to the doctors for a routine appointment and was dead within a couple of hours. Worst day of my life (so far) but he still inspires me. Take strength from your memories.
Sorry to hear about your Grandad I lost my Gran in May so I know how you feel. Football is just a game and will be there when you are ready to go and watch, unfortunately Family that we love won't. Think of all the good happy times you've shared. Your Grandad will always be with you while you remember him, keep him in your head and your heart. People on here will always have different opinions some will like what BFC are doing and others won't, this is what makes us all unique - we think for ourselves. God Bless your Grandad. Laura x
