Seeing what I have of them they are superb footballing side and put us to shame. We may need to be prepared for being the lowest placed local side if things don't start well.

Not for long though, they've got a squad of players same as what we've had last few seasons, decent lower league players on reasonable wages, only difference is they've been gelling in leagues where they can make mistakes and still win games, due to the standard they're up against where as we've been trying to gel a team together and improve players in a league where every mistake is punished, they're going to have the exact same problems as us, their better players will rip the league up then as soon as it comes to resigning new contracts they'll have offers on the table from other clubs that Rotherham can't match without taking big risks with the clubs future, so they have to replace the players that have got them up but do so with one of the smallest budgets in the league attracting players to a grim northern town with nothing more then wishful thinking and hope, the only way they'll push on is if the take risks this summer by giving 3 year plus contracts to the players they sign this summer but its risky doing so in case they fail at that level, the step up from League one to championship is massive and some players just can't do it and buying proven championship players isn't possible on the budgets clubs like ours generate they might get a couple of seasons of reasonable finishes in that league but after that it'll be a massive struggle just like it is for us
