first game of the season, we were not outclassed at all today, once we settled down we competed very well, were clearly the best team in the second half, Cardiff were clinging on in the last 15 mins, most of our players excelled to day, despite the report on radio 2 i certainly dont think McPhail ran the game, Chops was the best player on the field for the first hour, yes we really need a good striker but thats not rocket science, i thought Wright looked better than we have seen from him previously when he came on, McIndoe didnt do a lot but Togwell looked very promising,
on todays showing we will finish well above the bottom 3

I also enjoyed the game, let's hope we can watch games like that and acumulate enough points to stay up!!!!

to days game would have been great for a neutral

although the referee did his best to spoil it with some dodgy descisions, i thought PR had paid him

It's the best ive felt in 23 years of watching the reds after losing a game. Thought the lads gave absolutely everything and ran their blood to water. If we keep that level of performance up we will stay up without a doubt! Don't think Chopra was the best player in the 1st hour though and in ny humble opinion i don't think we missed McPhail either.

I thought we looked BETTER without McPhail - more balanced.

Totally agree. Get that striker in that we are missing and will look even better for the season ahead.
