    No..

I thought he had played a masterstroke in giving him the opportunity to prove Sturrock wrong. Instead he proved him right

Surely it was just so he could lead the team out on his big day. First out, first back in the dressing room! What surprised me was that Kay appeared to finish the game with the armband on not Hassell!

Fair points, I just think Hecky would have been worked up before the game without the armband. Wouldn't be my choice of captain.

    TBH I think.....

Kay should be captain whenever Reidy is out and not Hassell. Nothing at all against Bobby, my man of the match Saturday. But I do think if there is a local lad, who is capable of being captain, then he should be captain. Take Liverpool for example. Hyypia was a good captain, but when Gerrard matured he became captain instead. IMO Kay has kept his head so far this season and is now maturing into a very good player.
