Sir Bob will remain 'club' captain I'd imagine. But to be 'team' captain he'd have to be on the pitch, and knowing how much King Keith loves Scott Wiseman I think that's unlikely. Me personally, I'd like to see Lee Collins with it.
If by class you mean 'he runs around a lot in some games and is totally ineffective and hides in others' then yes, yes he is class. I dont mind him actually, hes a decent player, puts the effort in sometimes and gets stuck in but there is no way in hell would I describe him as class.
Perkins was our most consistent player last season, his work allowed Butterfield & co to push on. He's not what I would call class but he's certainly one of our better player's.
I dont think he was one of our most consistent players at all. He did practically nothing for a long time and the excuse given was always that other players in the midfield were missing so he couldnt play very well. If he was that good he'd have been able to perform on his own surely? I seem to remember people in the stands saying how poor he was in a lot of games. He's a good player, he can be a good player but I dont think he was very consistent at all last season
Perkins or o'brien - j o'brien does a lot of talking and is really enthusiastic. Players like and respect him
Simply because I hope we have better players than him in midfield, not a great footballer, not a good passer, not a good tackler, yes he runs a lot, he runs more miles than any player I have seen in a long time, but that does not make him a good player. I think Dawson is a better option, because he can tackle, sometimes he is a liability, but he is in my opinion a better player in the middle of the field. I am in no way saying Dawson is great, just better than Perkins.
