RE: He was tonight

Do you reckon he will be captain next season?

Him, Vaughan & McPhail all had it last season.

Reid all the way for me

in lieu of a better candidate like Taggart

Vaughan is a desgrace and I think McPhail's attitude stinks and therefore he should not be even considered for captain

One example tonight..Wroe does well!! and creates a shooting chance but fires just over from edge of box. Nardy Hayes and Burns all shout "Unlucky" but McPhail throws his hands in teh air, shakes his head and walks off. He probaly wanted a square ball

    I'm encouraging Wroe

what bothered me about McPhail was that he failed to applaud Wroe for having a go and creating the chance and instead chose to behave like a petulant school kid

I did not mean Vaughan was a disgrace tonight, just in general. To be fair tonight he did nowt out of place

    Okay!!

Like I say..he probably wanted a square ball to float a ball into the box

PHart probably taught him that a shot is a waste when a square ball can be played....

    Definetley...

as a team we still seem scared of having a blast. If you don't shoot you won't score, it's as simple as that!!

Redders used to get 15-20 goals a season because he used to shoot whenever he could...sometime I feel like we over elaborate too much instead of banging a shot in!!

    RE: Definetley...

    Agree with that 100%..

Lampard & Gerrard have shots whenever they see fit and goals often come their way.

We really need a midfielder who can bang in 10+ goals a season.....Could it be Kell? Time will tell.

    I don't know about Kell

liek you say time will tell But McPhail, Burns Wroe, Kay Shuker et al should be capable of at about 30 goals between them with say McPhail banging in 10-15

He's the one most UNLIKELY to shoot tho...
