The engine service light has recently come on on my girlfriends Ford Focus. Took it to the Ford garage today and they want £75 just to plug it in to the diagnostics to see whats wrong with it. Can anyone recommend a garage/person who can do this a lot cheaper?! Cheers
Tony Sefton In Worsbrough (01226) 299906 Top bloke, very reasonable. Unfortunately also very busy so you won't be able to pick and choose your times. Sorted out my Focus when the same thing happened.

engine service light..... usually ends up costing the earth .... when the garage geezer puffs his cheeks out and shakes his head !
Well if it is the engine warning light, it could be anything from a pinprick hole in a pipe letting air in or something more substantial.
Go and see Tony Sefton, top electrical mechanic(Y)
