Bit of a long shot this, but does anyone know where I can get the security code for a Phillips radio for free? My car is so knackered it hardly seems worth paying the £7.99 fee most websites charge. Thanks for any help
Apparently, but don't quote me on this, it works... Sticking it in the fridge, that is. I've never had a first hand verification of its effectiveness but I’ve heard many recommendations of it!
RE: You had better not laugh at me if I do nt I shan't, mate - it's worth a try if it's an old unit. Like I said, I couldn't verify it works but I've heard it suggested enough times...
RE: You had better not laugh at me if I do nt get on ebay, for 20 quid you can get a smart headunit - wont be brand u'll av heard but i got one not long back with an auxillary input to connect ipod. You can even plug a usb stick straight into it and it'll play mp3s of it. standard iso connector so dead easy to fit.
this thread is getting weirder radio in the fridge ... smart head unit from ebay ... what next ... S)
RE: Nothing to lose but my radio smelling of cheese I suppose! Let me know if it works, mate! It'd nice to be able to recommend it with confidence!
RE: ok will give it a try. next to the gruyere or the mozzarella? nt Mozzarella - it has a more musical ring to it!
RE: do what ketilbert said, it does work nt Does it really? I have heard people say it does but I've never known anyone who's done it successfully? Worth a try, I suppose!
