I have the chance of doing the following for the match: 1) Fly down to Cardiff in private jet with on board bar; 2) Watch the match from corporate box with bar; 3) Fly back after match … home and dray by 8pm. Alternatively: 1) Travel down on a knackered old coach taking 5 hours … without bar; 2) Watch the match in a proper atmosphere; 3) Take ages to get home through the traffic feeling thoroughly miserable if we lose. Now the first set of options sounds mightily appealing, but the only problem is that the invitation extends only to me, not the two lads I regularly go to the matches with. So then, what do I do … dump my mates or slum it on a coach?
Buy tickets with your mates. Get the private Jet down, meet them there, soak up the atmosphere, by pretending you got 'lost' going to the toilet. Private jet home.
