To be fair One person shooting/hitting/stabbing someone in a certain city doesn't automatically mean it's a bad place or the team has a bad set of fans. Far too much jumping on bandwagons after isolated incidents in my view. Awful incident, but who knows, he might have been hit by someone nothing to do with football.
He isn't jumping on the bandwagon mate Southampton are generally a rough set of fans, although I'm sure Cardiff fans did absolutely nothing to get them riled up.
Unfortunately it's true http://www.thisishampshire.net/news/hampshirenews/4163520.Football_fan_fights_for_life_after_attack/
A MAN has been stabbed five times in an attack outside St Mary's Stadium in Southampton. The 24-year-old man was left with stab wounds to his neck, back and hand following the assault between 9.45pm and 10.15pm last night. Police say emergency services were called to Britannia Road in St Mary's after a woman found the victim and called for an ambulance. Officers searching the area later arrested a 24-year-old man in Palmerston Park at around 10.35pm. A police spokesman said they are still waiting to interview the two men to find out what lead to the stabbing. He confirmed the victim is in Southampton General Hospital receiving treatment but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 0845 045 4545 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4160140.Knife_attack_outside_St_Mary_s_Stadium/
You reap what you sow The guy injured may turn out to be an innocent But, Cardiff have a reputation to keep up and this guy has been caught up in that Cardiff definitly surprised me at Wembley when I saw them throwing coins at women and kids and throwing bottles at buses full of families What I can gather from the Wembley match is that they see themselves as some sort of invading army when they venture into England. When they play teams just over the boarder in England (Bristol, Southampton, Portsmouth) the home fans know all about them and are waiting So. am I surprised at this news.............NO !!!
Interesting that he was a part of a group who didn't leave the pub. The incident happened sometime between 3 and half past in a Pub half a mile from the ground. To get into the ground in time for the KO the group would need to leave at 2:45 at the latest. Seems to me he had no intention of going to the game and I bet the group he was in was looking for trouble.
Shame that I need to A guy is on life-support. You know virtually nothing about the incident and yet can say "you reap what you sow". Maybe I've been a bit harsh and you don't understand what that phrase means. More likely you think that because the guy was a Cardiff fan and some Cardiff fans are violent thugs then it's just what it to be expected.
Yes thats it, you've got it................Cardiff fans can expect anything And you could plainly see why when we met them at Cardiff Barnsley looked at that semi final as a family day out.............what I witnessed...Cardiff didn't !!!!!! And like I said, this guy may have been an innocent but him and his family can look at whats happened in the past and point the finger straight at their own fans So bright red ............DO NOT stick up for the scum that I saw at Wembley
Why was he still in the pub when he should have been in the ground? I bet it wasn't because he was struggling to finish his pint
James G.................you always get stupid comments on here........... ............when people talk about subjects like this and its plain to see that they dont know what they are talking about Its as though by calling someone names, even though that person is telling it how it is, they feel they have reached higher ground Sorry.....but they haven't
RE: Yes thats it, you've got it................Cardiff fans can expect anything Why would I stick up for Cardiff scum? I wouldn't stick up for Barnsley scum either. You've made your position clear and I stick by my original comment.
