surely it's about time..... ....clubs in serious amounts of debt were prevented from splashing out such huge sums for p0layers and wages. Not sure how to enforce it, but there must be a way - %age of income for example. Therefore, if such clubs receive a big transfer fee, a certain amount must go in reducing their debt.
Plus news came through at 9:45 this morning that they were preparing to make another bid for him. I guess they will go to three million quid next.
Kris Boyd is dreadful - let them waste their money I wouldn't have him for half a million let alone 3!
RE: surely it's about time..... To be fair to Cardiff - although it goes against the grain to do so - they have just got 5 million from Arsenal for Ramsey. In that respect therefore they are not spending money they have not got.
Kayode Ugly would score goals with that midfield in that league Don't be fooled. Not a patch on any of the Celtic strikers. Derek Riordon is better.
really? I've no interest in Scottish football so I know very little about him, but looking at his stats he's scored 51 goals in 57 starts for Rangers. That's pretty impressive.
RE: Kayode Ugly would score goals with that midfield in that league I think he'd still score goals in the Championship. I'd rather have him than Jimmy Vinegar of Hesselink.
Depends on the type of player you enjoy watching To say he's dreadful was probably the wrong choice of word. Not pretty to watch, hasn't really looked the part when stepping up a level to International football. I've also heard reports about him being bad for dressing room morale. What I would say is Kenny Miller didn't score 51 goals in 57 starts, yet commanded a 3 million fee on three different occasions. With a record like Kris Boyd's you'd expect him to be touted around for mega bucks - there's a reason he isn't, he's not that good. Just my opinion though, will probably bang a hat trick in against us next season if he signs, and people will remind me of this post!
