Are these press releases intended to make the fans feel bad..............because its working !!!

There's talk from Ritchie about bringing in players with experience to secure our status in the Championship

But what do we get - a guy kicked out of Cardiff and another young kid to add to the rest of the young kids that can't get in the side
Why am I not surprised !!!
I still think Shep thinks we can do the Championship on the cheap - WE CAN'T (banghead)
Can someone tell him bring in a few experienced players about 30+ year olds
And if they have to be payed more than whats been paid already at the club - then so be it
That extra for wages couild be the difference in staying up or going down
If the squad stops as it is, we are more likly to go down
So we have to gamble a bit now - because if we do go down then its going to cost the club much much more in the longer term
FFS - get it sorted Shep / Ritchie

AR watched a player in action last night, and im sure will have been seeking loan signings. Will we see the same as Lucketti where they would rather wait until Jan to make a perm move?? That is the prob we are going to have

You will find experienced players are actually good............why I hear you ask ??

Because if they wern't good they wouldn't play and therefore they wouldn't have got any experience
    Have it (wicked)

Does a player have to be old to be classed as experienced??? You can find some 25/26 year olds who have the experience and are good enough. You start looking at some 30-32 year olds and they are looking for a final pay day.

    I knew it

When typing the above post i thought 'now I'm going to get players mentioned that have played for Barnsley that were well past their sell by date'
    So predictable
    Example - Keith Curle
But Keith Curle 2 years younger than what he was when he did sign for Barnsley would be a great addition now
    We need experince
Ritchie himself has said we need more experience in the side

Only just heard that he's on trial with you lads. Hmmmm. Wouldn't build your hopes up too much if I were you.

Couldn't get near our 1st team last season and we weren't that good at all. Dave Jones was playing youth team players before him!

He may do ok for you - if you've got a Betty Ford clinic near.

    RE: Of course he does!

The local publicans will be dancing in the streets.

Lets just say that he enjoys the kudos of being a professional footballer.

He came to us from Norwich after being their player of the year (may have been the season prior) and a current NI international.

Scored goals in pre-seasons friendlies and looked a good buy (free). Didn't seem interested when season started, got booted out of NI squad (along with Jeff Whitley) for going clubbing when they had a team meeting and has never got into their squad since.

Made a couple of appearances on the bench last year and seemed disinterested. Last time I saw him I would have thought that rugby would be a better sport for him - as one of the front row.

Sorry to have shattered any illusions (doh)

    No (neer)

Wouldn't swap Chopra for any striker currently in our division.

    I would swap...

...if I could have Charlotte in your avatar though (dribble) Can't see the rest of the City fans being happy though.

Chops is playing well. Scoring goals is a bonus with him - and he should have scored a lot more so far.
