Bloody hell, where is it all going to end? KOUMAS DESPERATE TO BE TRUMP CARD JASON KOUMAS is confident he will seal a £2million switch to Cardiff in time to start the new season in Wales. And the rebel West Bromwich Albion midfielder believes he will be fit for Dave Jones' side - despite not doing a single day of pre-season training. "I'm ready for the start of the season and I'm fit, make no mistake about it," he said. "I've covered miles jogging the streets, I've spent hours with the ball and I just can't wait to hear that whistle and start playing again for Cardiff.
JASON KOUMAS is confident he will seal a £2million switch to Cardiff in time to start the new season in Wales.
Good. That means he won't be playing in Yorkshire on Saturday then.

It'll all end in tears When P.Riddy & Uncle Sam lead their boys to a heroic failure and finish 7th!!!!!!
Would that be 14 new signings then? There wage bill must be sky high, how can they keep it up with only 6,000 season ticket holders? Also, a central midfield partnership of McPhail and Koumas? Doesn't do it for me, might have more ability than Howard and Togwell but I'd choose the latter par as a partnership. No Idea what the starting XI will be Satdi
I just cannot see for the life of me how they can sustain those wages It beggars belief. Why is Koumas so passionate about Cardiff? Is he bonkers or what? He's already been fined about 3 weeks wages from West Brom. Well, ne'er mind, Uncle Peter will pay his fines for him!
To be fair they've had a record shirt sponsorship deal of £½m a year so that would cover a couple of players. The fees probably will be under this 'leaseback' deal which spreads the transfer fee over the life of the contract. But even given that I can't see how their future income streams will cover these things. Mind Sam is a very dodgy customer and most of the debt the club has is to his overseeas companies. I can't believe how he's got the council to fall for all of this, the council owns Ninian Park and the land for the new stadium. Most of the money is coming from retailers buying plots on council land and it going to the new stadium, on council land. There'll be a few councillors who will be able to afford some nice holidays over the next few years I bet!
