Think he denied that happening, mentioned an interest but summat about his fitness etc. He said he wasn't the type of player we'd now be looking at. Knew I'd forgot a few things the other day.
No thanks - i think we made a serious move for him - and for one reason or another he turned it down. Perhaps we offered him lower money due to his fitness issues perhaps who knows, but **** him, we moved on. We signed Treacy after it fell through.
