Just got tickets to see The Prodigy in Leeds next year for the 3rd time. Probably my favourite live band of all time, with or without the legend Keith Flint. They are being supported by Carl Cox who will to quote be doing a 2 hour 3 deck vinyl set and there's a lot of excitement I've seen from fans about this. Honestly though I've never heard of him, he was probably a bit before my time. Has anyone watched him live before and will he be worth watching? Any info would be really appreciated
One for @Terry Nutkins. But Carl Cox was huge when I was a lad, and that’s going back over 30 years. I’m not really into the scene these days to know more.
Carl Cox was immense back when Ibiza was all the rage. If he's half as good as he was then, you're in for a treat. I've seen Prodigy twice and very envious, though not sure I could be as hardcore as I was at their Brixton gig years ago which started after midnight. Enjoy!
Carl Cox was a regular at the best underground techno night in Leeds in the 90's... Legend of the genre.
Saw him last week on the Isle of Man, lovely bloke massively in to his motorbikes and the TT. I’m pretty sure his set will be something to remember.
One of the biggest djs on the planet back in the 90s. Techno and house is his thing. I'd definitely go, nothing to lose but an experience! Loads of stuff in YouTube. His Burning Man set from this year is good if you can ignore the hipsters and poncey crowd
