So given that we were told 6 mill was to be given to signing new players and that all money received from transfers would be reinvested in players I believe we should have around 6.4 mill left taking into account 1.2 for luke and somewhere around 300 to 600 th for mads. with this amount who would you go for or would you be happy with the players rumoured to be linked with

If I owned the club, I would allocate a couple of million to share out amongst the loyal fans. Though probably put a little extra in for those on The Ponty. Specifically Gangway 5... Row O... Seat No....

Don't forget to factor in the wages of these new transfers and contracts, they won't be on L1 wages anymore, thats why they are still here.

We will be on a bottom 6 budget. I hope people acknowledge this and set expectations accordingly.

Paul Conway says Lindsays fee will also be spent on new signings. Could we still have
circa £6 million still to spend. ?

The statement I read said back into the club didn't it? I'm not sure it said new signings per se, although hopefully that is the plan :)

It could mean improvements on the ground, higher wages to keep existing players...anything.

You're right TM, but like the first post by John Vaines, could be wrong, but I seem to remember reading somewhere Paul Conway saying that the money from promotion and transfer fees would be ploughed back into the team.

Granted that could include enhanced wages for some of the existing squad or it might mean ground improvements, but I suppose we will probably never know what all the money will eventually be spent on.
