    My lad has a sky subscription via his ipad, we've bought the hdmi adaptor thinking we could watch it on the TV, but it's giving us a message that its not possible, anyone know if there is a work round for this?

    You cant as far as im aware. Sky have made sure you cant. But im no expert.

    There isn’t one, I tried a couple of years ago,. However, My Niece’s husband was able to do it using Play Station1 but I haven’t a clue how.

    The Nowtv app for the phone has a Chromecast symbol on it, but seemingly not on my laptop, unless I'm just not seeing it.
    But I'll do it via the phone anyway.

    You need the Chromecast browser extension installig into Chrome and then you can cast anything you watch on your browser - that's how I've watched iFollow via a projector all season.
