A Shambles.
Put to shame by a non league side. £2.20 for a pie, £1.40 for a Bovril thats luke warm at best and watch out...they have a nasty habit of shortchanging you aswell
I thought Shepherd used to be in catering? Let's do summat a bit better eh? Like Pie (Proper) Chips Peas & Gravy for £3.00 mmmmmmm

Seconded, thirded.......1x10^999999999999999ed 2.80 I'm told for a pint of piss in east stand this season in underserviced poorly equipped / furnished "bar area" I, Mr Sheppard, will be drinking in other establishments at sub 2 pound a pint and eating my own snap. Not one penny to you or your caterers. Time to learn a few lessons.
Of course he does But unless people air their grievances, a solution can't be fixed. Why not write to the club and outline what you feel are the problems?
but shefftyke when peoples opinions have been ignored in the past why should we bother to keep asking for change?
Probably because... I will probably be ignored
The man (or his PA) could not even be bothered to even acknowledge an e-mail I sent recently reagrding a marketing matter...
full of confidence? I think not

because if you're not happy then you keep asking for change, until you get heard. As long as it's done in a correct manner i'm sure the club will take notice. A football club lives by its fans.
At AFC's level without a doubt
I increasingly get the feeling that all GS and co care about is their precious executive customers

keep trying then send a letter, but don't give up just because one e-mail hasn't been answered. There could be a myriad of reasons why he didn't respond.
true but a large amount of fans asked for oakwell to become no smoking. This was over two years ago and a full review was promised. As of yet there has been no development despite a mans clothing catching fire in the middle of the stand last year. Surely they should have had a full review of that incident at the time?
No, I don't think they do Whilst most clubs like to have a full executive box as it shows a commitment from local businesses to support the club, no club can survive without the people in the stand. I doubt Mr Shepard cares more for executive fans than ordinary fans.
Why not have a text/website vote and earn money at the same time
Oh a money making idea that took me three seconds to come up with....that'll be 50k a year please

Sorry Shefftyke But after airing my grievances and the reply I got he can f*cking *****. And I did write to him personally, but never got an answer. From what I've seen he doesn't give a flying f*ck. They know all too well how bad the catering is. I've been to supporters society and club meetings where Crune has agreed with everything we've said about the poor quality of the catering and the ridiculous prices. And what do they do? Absolutely f*ck all. I got pie and peas and a couple of pints at the AFC Barnsley game I saw at the Dorothy Hymen stadium. Top quality and excellent prices. I wouldn't dream of getting that at oakwell. I'd need a bloody mortgage.
as a smoker I have no problems with grounds being no smoking, but I would like designated smoking areas as they have in the States.
and i havent bought anything apart from a programme from oakwell for several years matchday ticket and programme is all i want. nothing else is of an high enough quality. right down from refreshments, to shirts to pencil sharpeners
