Probably the worst exuse for a comedienne ever.
Absolute awful from start to fiinsh.
Just taking merits from half a dozen other shows.
It would be4 nice see a comedian/comedienne with a sense of adventure and provide some original material.
Tate sucks!

hear, hear, well said that man. said exactly the same on a couple of previous posta. A one dimensional comedian whose 'characters' rely on talking fast, saying 'init' every other sentence. Tee hee, Im peeing mi-self. Token women comedian up there with the likes of French and Saunders and Victoria 'Kim-ber-lee' Wood.
I thought it was me. I've never been able to understand her humour. Just don't find her funny at all.
I don't think she's even rated that highly is she? Isn't it just the BBC trying to push her onto us? Like ITV tried with robbie williams' mate
RE: I thought it was me. Most of her characters seem to be a variation of Vicki Pollard off little Britain. Whilst i think Little Britain is a little over rated at least it has a good variety of characters and I do find it funny in places - but even LB - like Catherine T - is now getting a little 'samey'. I have already been accused of being racist (well done the boys by the way, never ever doubted you) so I may as well be hung for a sheep etc but I really think whilst us males might be crap at multi tasking we have always- and continue to- rule the comedy arena full stop. Ricky Gervais - Comedy genius IMHO.
I think her old woman character (what a fackin liberty) can be pretty funny but the rest of it is just pish.
It's all very funny. But just the once. Characters and catchphrases that just don't bear repetition. Although I could watch the 'dirty, dirty Barstewards' couple all night - the Keighley sketch was just that bit too close to home!!
have you seem Gervais Fame tour i was well disappointed as I love all his other stuff. Did you see his comic relief sketch - pure genius!
RE: have you seem Gervais Fame tour Not seen his fame tour. But Animals and Politics DVDs were good and The Office and Extras superb. His comedy relief sketch was the highlight of the Comic Relief evening. Sadly, other than him, Alan Partidge and The Royle Familiy I can't think of much else that would get near the 'genius' category over the last few years.
RE: have you seem Gervais Fame tour Yeah i wasnt overly impressed and that guy who came on before him was ***** also
Spot on - never rated her. Jo brand much better. ... also proving to be a very diverse as well as intelligent woman. That programme last night showing how she tackled organ playing lessons, culminating in her playing that bloody massive thing at the Royal Albert Hall last Christmas, shows just how versatile she can be.
to me female and comedian are just mutually exclusive terms. It smacks of the BBC being right on. I have to agree with Bernard Manning with his critique of modern comedians "women are the fuc**ing worst" As for Joe Brand why do you think she is "diversifying" 'cos the pennys' dropped that she just isn't funny. Think of all the naturally humorous people you've ever worked with, and Iv'e worked with a mixed work force, how many are are women. Lenny Henry used to be quite funny, marries Dawn French.......
