It seems I read more negative than positive about CW ( unless it's just me?!?). Let's not forget that he wasn't even used as a 'number 9' for a chunk of those games and for 40 odd we were a bottom 3 side. Congratulations Cauley lad.
Cauley is a cracking player and is probably one of our most valuable assets. He has flourished under VI having been played out of position by GS, and I for one hope that his great form continues.
He's a cracking player who can do even better when Val balances out the front line. He's as good a striker that we could realistically hope to have at our club.
I'd say he's a better goal scorer but not a better player. Two very different types who I'd love as a front two.
Great player is Cauley, natural goalscorer and seems a nice lad too. Hope we get through January with him still at the club.
I am hoping that it will take a very considerable bid to take Cauley from us, and I feel that VI may well have some say in the matter given where we are going into the New Year: it will cost us a lot of money to find a suitable or better replacement
Brilliant return. Considering how many of those games he’s played out of position or on his own with no service. Brilliant.
I can never understand why Cauley gets so much stick , he is a superb player for us & even if he is not having the best of games he never hides & when he recently extended his contract, I for one was delighted , hope he stops with us for the foreseeable future, because he is a big asset & would cost us an arm and a leg to replace .
