I need to send 8GB of audio files to a consultant I'm working with - does anyone know how many CDRs that would normally take? My laptop doesn't have a DVD writer or I'd use them.

Also, does anyone know of any writing freeware that I can use?

    Cheers!

CDs are ~700 Mb, therefore need ~12 CDs.

An 80 min CDR is 700MB

So 12 CDR's would cover it.

CDburnerXP and Imgburn are the pick of free writing software.

Otherwise an 8GB USB stick would be pretty cheap nowadays (though not as cheap as CDRs)
