Remember that? Technology has advanced so much over the years, yet the digital text service on our TVs can't seem to match all that its analogue predecessor Ceefax did. I would love to get score flashes at the bottom of the screen while I'm watching the Athletics tonight, but it seems I've got to borrow the Tardis and go back 5 years in order to do so. Bloody progress.
I suppose you could get notifications sent to your phone using something like flash score. But I suppose it's not quite the same. That's what I use when I've got an acca on. Gets annoying after a while though.
