Chairman of Dony Rovers seems to be getting wound up a bit abart the TARN

    It seems we have a Ryan v Cryne battle looming
    See todays Yorkshire Post
    Ryan says main rival to Dony is the TARN
    Also went on to say, I would let the manager (Penny) talk to any big club if he wanted to but I would stand in his way if he wanted to talk to clubs like Crewe or Barnsley.
    Pensonally I never look at Dony, Rovrum, Chesterfield as rivals. Most of there fans come from the town that they live in.
    This Ryan guy should look to the Sheffield clubs if he is looking for a rival because Dony is full of Sheffield fans.

    And, just for pedantry Cryne does not run the football club...apparently Gordon Shepherd does</p>

    I've always seen Rovrum as our main rivals....

    But that's maybe because I started being interested in footy around the time of the two Ronnies.

    Ask Portsmouth fans who there rivals are
    Pick 1 from 3
    1) West Ham
    2) Birmingham
    3) Southampton

    From this, go through the league tables and find a boat load of other examples e.g. Barnsley - Wendy

    The point is this............Walk through the TARN and if you see...........

    A guy wearing a Dony shirt, then it's %99.9 sure this guy is from Dony OR his family is from Dony OR he/she has some strong conection with Dony.
    Now then (yer know whats coming here dunt yer !!!!)
    A guy wearing a Wendy shirt, nowt wrong with that, BUT ask the guy these questions
    1) which part of Sheffield are you from
    If the reply is - I'm not from Sheffield - then go to question 2
    2) what family connection or other connection have you with Sheffield
    If the reply is they have a connection then smile and back away slowly while watching their eyes
    However, if the reply is - none - then if it is a male you are allowed to poke him in the eye. If it is a female you are allowed to kick her in the lovely person
