A full day has passed since we bowed out of the FA Cup, and already i regret some of the stronger words i came out with last night in the heat of the moment. Having watched the match again perhaps we weren't all that bad, we just weren't as good as Cardiff on the day.

Despite the failings of New Wembley, i've plenty of good memories from yesterday... including sharing a pint with some dutch mates that flew over for the match, falling flat on my ar5e on slippery concrete steps, and some decent play at times.

Thought Howard was off his game at the time, didn't realise he was playing through pain and several stitches for half the match. It's amazing what you find out from a well informed forum.

Perhaps Odejayi deserves some credit for making himself a nuisance and making a fantastic run to set up the chance that, yes, he missed horribly. He could be an important prospect for us, given that we can't afford to buy a decent proven striker. And if we do end up with a player exodus if we don't stay up then he'll be even more important (and maybe more successful) in League One. I'll always be grateful to him for leading the line so well against Chelsea.

Still not overjoyed with Davey though. Tactics yesterday either weren't suitable or weren't followed by the team. It also concerns me that players get "frozen out" in a squad as lacking in quality as ours. He gets it right sometimes, but maybe not often enough to keep us up this season.
