What changes would you like to see to the team for Saturdays game?

Personally I would retain Brad Abbott in midfield and replace Williams with either Harry White or Ashley Fletcher (assuming Marley Watkins is still side-lined. Bring Bree in for Wabbara, keeping all others the same and adding Maris as a sub. Not many others left to choose from unless we bring someone else in before Saturday.

I saw no evidence on Saturday to suggest a midfield pairing of Abbott and Hourihane would win you a game of football at this level. You only get away with playing Hourihane as part of a midfield two if his partner has as much energy and ability as a Pearson or a Scowen. Abbott isn't that kind of player unfortunately.

In line with Jay's plea to Ben Mansford earlier, we are absolutely desperate for a central midfielder.

I agree, but if we don't get anyone else in who else is there who we could play?

Think we might have to play Alfie in midfield this weekend, not an ideal solution but no one else, Roberts into centre back. Give Harry White a start instead of Williams

James Bree is athletic and he has played central midfield all his life up until the first team. Give him a game there and George Williams can play RB. I didn't see much wrong with George when he did play. Looked okay. That's obviously depending on fitness of said two.

As much as it isn't Hourihanes fault that we are in this situation Is be tempted to drop him for Williams and let HIM be the energetic midfielder

Obviously White and Williams further back.

My only issue with that is the amount of times that Williams appeared to hate the confrontation side of the game on Saturday, other than his yellow card. Whenever the tackles were about to come in he look really uncomfortable.

I don't think his confidence is there yet to be part of a midfield two.

Abbott was rusty after not playing a proper game for 8 months. He'll only improve with more games.

I'd stick with him. I personally think our big issue has been too much chopping & changing of the side & formations.

I'd imagine we'll already be making 2 changes with Bree replacing Wabara & Watkins or Fletcher replacing Williams which I thinks more than enough

It's nice if we win but the football this season and a fair few of recent ones has been more about a day out wi lads. The Craic. Etc.

It's at the stage where the actual games second fiddle. Not actually arsed about who is in the team.

I agree with this our biggest problem is Lee Jay ****ed about with the 451 formation. We have been much improved scince we have gone 442 obviously it isn't good losing Pearson and wabara but they were loans and short term deals so to be expected. Bree for wabara and give Abbott a run in the center mid he hasn't played for a long time in a competitive game we can't keep dropping these young lads after one poor game or one mistake. Drop williams for fletcher. Bring williams on for Isgrove later on in the game as Isgrove will most likely be leaving when his loan is up and Williams can take his place on wing when this happens he also looked rusty Saturday.

The only change really we can make is Fletcher for Williams, 442 and hope Abbott has a better game, if Isgrove loses form then Williams can take his place, and obviously bree in for wabarra. This Is the closest formation and players that we have left to maintaining the recent uplift in form. Fleetwood game proved our team is not good enough to play any different because Williams can't play as a striker and winnall needs to play with a target man type of striker
