Changes to transfer tactics that slightly unnerve me

This season we've gone public after who we're after with the announcement about Charlie Adam. This is a departure from previous seasons, yet we don't seem to have gone public about anyone else apart from Hammill. I wonder why Davey's done this?

I expected us to be in the mix for higher profile players this year seeing as we look to have more cash; last year very early on we heard about Hume and Philips which were both exciting names, yet whilst there's been activity elsewhere in the division it seems as though there's little going on at Oakwell.

Who am I to know. Just feel it's strange given the Adam situation (which I feel doubtful of us landing somehow given the statements).

I don't know why, maybe it's the successive relegation fights, but there seems to be pessimism this year around the club's image.

But the policy was we dont comment on players till its completed - basically they just make up the rules how it suits at the time - stronger together!

 

yeah, tbh I just assumed it was Rangers looking for more money- but yes, we commented on it and sound rather desperate!
