    Im working on that estate now,been on it for the last 12month.theres some characters on there,its like goin back in time.ive worked in 1 of the people who was talking on it .on the other hand on the outer edges of scunny ive never seen as many massive detached houses,theres hundreds.

    Didn't Don come from Scunny? - it must be all his fault.

    As someone who is Scunny born and still has relatives there, it did not paint a good picture of the town. There are nicer parts, but also some rough bits. I can remember the areas near where we used to live looking rough, and as a primary school kid (under 9) I ended up with two trips to A&E after being assaulted on the way to/from school. And that was *before* the massive problems caused by the steel strike in 1980.
