    Bought the players contracts for £2.75million from the administrator. Been told by the Scottish fa they are worthless as the contracts cannot be transferred to a newco. Oh dear.

    I did wonder that myself! Still, can't feel too sorry for him seeing as he's effectively got the ground for I'm guessing less than 10% of its real value.

    Hmmm! Well, whatever happens he can't knock it down as it's a listed building I believe. At least the Archibald Leich sections of the ground are. Perhaps he could open a bagpipe factory in the councourses....

    Very little time for 'proper' due diligence when buying a company/trade & assets out of administration. The risk is usually reflected in the price. Still a major f-up tho!
