He is still brilliant. He even had Limmy, Scotland's finest on.

Great show but wholeheartedly disagree with your views on Limmy.

But don't worry you can have him come independence ;)

Thanks for the reminder. Missed it last week too. Please tell me he's scrapped the stupid studio interview bit though.

    LOL...

    I am an arse.

I inserted one vowel when I should have inserted another... after a 3rd bottle of fair to middling red wine....

I will try a bit harder.

Oh, it wasn't your spelling I was (light-heartedly) criticising. It was the country of origin of your choice of merlot!

Given my username I feel duty bound to promote French wines.

I'm glad you understand my position.

No, I don't know Mr Hesford I'm afraid. But I guess you had that down as a long shot when you asked.

Ah, will this be in relation to the Domaine Treloar? Looks cracking. Quite a way south of us but I'm always up for a wine-related road-trip. Friends of yours?

    Was always unlikely.

I haven't seen Jonathan for nearly 30 years.

Last time was when the Clash busked on Leeds Uni steps.

He is on my Facebook, lives in france & owns a vineyard...

He's funny and I'm of a very similar political persuasion, but I just couldn't face watching the smug fcker tonight. He's fast becoming the Clive Anderson of the left.

Just reading up on his vineyard's web site now (http://www.domainetreloar.com/uk/indexEnglish.htm for the English version):

    "Red Wines
Le Ciel Vide Named after a Bruce Springsteen song "Empty Sky""

Now added to my list of desirable destinations. Is there a "Friends of John Peachy discount" to be had?

I bet it is, mate. I'll let you know if/when I manage to incorporate it into a road trip. Time for me to hit the sack so enjoy the merlot but next time consider a nice Saint-Émilion - you know it makes sense!

First half was brilliant but thought it tailed off, that bit about This Morning was tedious.

He should stick to just satarising the news, it's what he does best.

He's not funny anymore, rich, successful, married to a TV presenter, can't really be the angry man anymore, just another Hampstead champagne socialist.
