do you realise though now that the word "chav" is so commonly used that if youre not a grunge/goth nor wearing a suit, you are now infact classed as a chav by everyone who are mostly chavs themselves. for example most people that are tose mentioned above may claim that pool is infact the chav game, played in a chavish place full of chavish people and you obviously know it is as you stated they cant play pool.
RE: do you realise though now that the word "chav" is so what about, rockport, ****, timberland, armani or infact anything with a recoqnised label apart from converse and the like. or even football socks or any branded cap. this chav word is know the name for everyone apart from themselves. and i admit it if the people i call a chav are infact a chave then possibly i am and same goes for you as they probably own some of the same clothing. rants over

Designer label "baseball" caps Saw an ad at work for one of the stalls we get from time to time in the canteen - this one was advertising, amongst other things, designer "baseball" caps and the list included burberry,****,.......NY Errr excuse me? NY? That isn't a designer label, thats a New York Yankees cap....i.e. a Baseball cap for a baseball team! Annoys me the way the thing has been hijacked by people who don't even realise its a team - best way to fool them is to ask them if they think the Yankees can make the playoffs! It's the reason my Yankees cap only gets a outing when I go to NY to a game!
