I've been in touch with the social club we use when we go to the England games about the possibility of using it for Barnsley fans. We'd need a guaranteed 600 attendees for them to open the club solely for our use, and parking for coaches. Usually costs us around £2.50 a pint, and they do food as well. Usually a good family atmosphere and around a ten minute walk to the ground (just around the corner from the Olympic Torch pub). What's the general consensus of opinion? Thanks
Its going to be the easiest if we can get coachloads at a time, and it beats parking at Stanmore and going down to Wembley Park on the tube too.
Well done that man for having the initiative to organise something positive like this at a time when everybody is arguing amongst themselves about the ticket situation! This scenario is no different to what England fans have had to put up with for years at away games and especially in World Cup Finals. There aren't enough tickets to go round there, but it doesn't stop people from moving forwards and enjoying the occasion. I hope that everyone who is a genuine fan manages to get a ticket, but please don't let this overshadow our big day.
RE: Well done that man for having the initiative to organise something positive like this at a time We'd have to get a guaranteed 600 for them to make it ours. Its the only place like it around Wembley, and there's coach parking to boot.
I know of 2 coach loads who'd be interested.. My brother runs his own travel firm and is taking 2 coaches to Wembley. I'll get in touch with him.
