Cheapest way to get to Southend...

    Flying won't be cheap, train wouldn't get there in time.

    what spelling mistake

    I tried national express for you - they dont do Glasgow to Southend but you could go via London - problem is you'd need to set off on Friday to get there in time

    Already got a week off for Palace and Leicester(and promotion dinner).

    Maybe someone is driving down from Barnsley and would like to offer me a lift? :)

    Try Ryannair from Prestwick to Stanstead departs08.20 returns 21.45, &pound;53 on Cheapflights. Then try and arrange a lift.</p>

    Or you can then get the train which takes 2 hours and costs from &pound;22 return.</p>
