Just seen it on the highlights Disgraceful - If you can give punishment for offences missed by the ref after the game you should be able to give them for deliberate cheating where the ref was conned
oh come off it, if it was barnsley we'd be saying he did right to get the penalty its ok when its a player for a different team. your telling me that if a dive in the area meant that barnsley scored a penalty and won the game 1-0 ud be slating barnsley ermmm somehow dont think so. say aresenal won the mathc 1-0 on aggregate thanks to this dive, arsenal get £20 million and reach champions league stages do u honestly think wenger will say to eduardo u shouldnt have done that. win at all costs is the game
i love to watch arsenal i must say but that was not in the spirit of the game and just proves that video screens should be used by the third officals if the referee is in 2 minds whether or not to give a decision. a bit like the 3rd umpire in cricket
There was no need for him to do it 1) They were 2 up on aggregate. 2) They were by far the better team at the time and it was only a question of WHEN rather than IF they were going to score. 3) He's a talented young lad who doesn't need to resort to those measures. 4) Celtic never looked like scoring (untill they did).
