wot a (wnkr) never a penalty cheating ref wigan have stone wall penalty turned down and rooney dives and gets one
Wasn't this the same ref v Chelsea in the Cup that handled the game very well - and refused to be intimidated by the Prem Prima Donnas?? Looks like he is having an off day today however.
He should have gone But ref's do that all the time when players are on a booking - annoys me. thought it was a penalty though
Ref's favouring the so called 'big clubs' is part of a much wider problem in football - not unique to Man U - though they probably benefit more than most.
Manure have only had one penalty awarded against them all season I think that says it all that they have refs in their pockets..
Exactly. I don't really mind who wins the title today tbh. I think Man Utd play the better footy and have deserved it more imo for the way they play the game, rather than Chelsea on the other hand who win whatever the cost, they aren't pretty on the eye so much. But when the referee is blatantly giving Utd everything, lie someone said further up ^ just hand them the title now. For the record I do think it was a penalty for Man Utd, but also the 2nd yellow should have come for Scholes and the Ferdinand incident was a stone-wall pen.
