Apparently, the turkeys voted for Christmas after all. Hopefully we never find ourselves having to participate in this farce of a competition, but it looks like it's here for more than the 1 year trial. http://www.efl.com/news/article/201...-league-one-and-league-two-clubs-3713966.aspx
No room for anyone to complain about it now. Another ***** thing gone down in the history of our Football League.
A ridiculous decision completely ignoring the wishes of the customers. The experiment failed to attract customers and failed to get many UK u21s on the pitch. I I hope fans extend the boycott. Lions led by donkeys or ******* idiots the your pick.
This is a ridiculous decision for a pathetic competition. I wouldnt have been against them scrapping the JP as it was anyway, even though we did of course go onto win it.
I suspect that this option carried better financial incentives than the alternatives, rather than it being a straight vote on format preference. If not, I'm baffled as to how it got passed. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
How many clubs are there in the four FL Divisions who still havent ever been to Wembley ? That was one of the few positive reasons in favour of this Associate members cup, and it was the same while we had the Full members cup as well. But the play offs and the chance of a Wembley promotion final make up for that now and as a result, Im amazed that the JPT (as it became) has lasted for as long as this.
