    Prepare for all hell to break loose!

    The Malta move is off because the terms of his post-release supervision won't allow it. David Walsh in the Sunday Times says that new controversy will be provoked this week when he signs for a League One club. Walsh is the doyen of the Sunday journo's - it was he who doggedly pursued the Lance Armstrong story despite being successfully sued by Armstrong before he was revealed as a cheat.

    I understand that Chedwyn is supervised by Barnsley Probation staff as he lives at Penistone. His former manager visited him in prison before he was sacked as boss of the Blunts. There is a certain South Yorkshire club that has only one striker - and he is injured!

    Whatever has been said before, needs and attitudes change (see Sheffield United). There may be a storm a-brewing!

    Even if yer man is right, there are 22 other league 1 teams other than us and Sheff Utd, and most of them need a striker. The other things you 'understand' aren't relevant at all.

    If anyone is seriously planning on taking him on though, they need their heads testing. They'll lose more on the gate than they could possibly gain.

    I would like to think that Patrick Cryne wouldnt even consider allowing Danny to bring him here
    The people who think its Barnsley because of the Wilson connection and he lived near here have no inside knowledge and are just guessing based on that
    Winnall will be fit long before the rapist is anywhere near ready to play for the first team so it would be a poor decision even for football reasons

    but if its true I will be seriously considering returning my Season Ticket and I doubt I would be alone.
    Hopefully though its just a scare story and he hasnt got a club to go to

    I'm pretty sure Patrick Cryne said at one of the meetings earlier this season that he would never sanction the signing of Ched whilst he was involved with bfc.

    There's no chance it will happen. He won't get an English club for years. Maybe never again. He's always going to be linked but no clubs daft enough to take him.

    Both Ben and Patrick have made it known the board would never sanction it even if Danny wanted him. The good work of Linton Brown to make our ground so full of commercial partners for a change would also go down the pan as they all leave us thus making us skint. I don't know why our own fans would even want to spread such a rumour.

    A mate, with connections at Bumhole Lane, believes it's Yeovil.

    At a loss why anyone would sign him. Almost a certain adverse effect on attendances and he won't be match fit till end of season.

    We haven't been a family club for years but this would be a new low for us if it was us and if the board have gone back on their word. I still believe there is no chance of the club being us but to stop unwanted speculation until tomorrow we should release a short statement today letting it be known it's not us.
