Post off Rochdale Forum about Paddy McCourt....... Football folk talk about player combos like "Toshack & Keegan" or "Sutton & Shearer" - but Barnsley fans can consider themselves privileged to get the chance to see a "COG & McCourt" partnership that has the potential to become legendary - if they can spend enough time on the pitch together. It doesn't bear thinking about what they could do to championship defences if they gel. It's been mentioned about putting 1000's on your gate. Believe me, a fit Paddy McCourt will do just that. There'll be Celtic fans making the trip. And some Daleys too. See - Hopefully lighten the mood abit!!!!
might be wrong, but I suspect McCourt falls into the category of luxury player ie not likely to offer much endeavour, which is alright if confidence is up and you're on a winning run. And to bring him in now says a lot about how close Jennings is to the first team, which is even more worrying.
