Why don't you concentrate on support Barnsley Football Club? Couldn't give a toss what Chelsea fans are up to.

I have never understood the snide comments some people have when people bring up perfectly valid or interesting points about other teams or past players/ managers.. Just because it is another team doesn't mean you have to cut it down and imply it's irrelevant. Seen it quite a bit recently and it is definitely a pet peeve of mine, we're all interested in football surely so why wouldn't we have an interest in what past players & other teams are up to.

 Not going to be a popular one this post.

No they don't. I'm surprised the players don't join in!

While I can see why you'd say that and don't think there's anything wrong with you saying it, I'd disagree personally because I feel that a club belongs to the supporters regardless of who's name is filed at companies house. Barnsley doesn't belong to Patrick Cryne, it belongs to us fans. Chelsea doesn't belong to Abramovich, it belongs to the fans. As stakeholders in a club and indeed the true lifeblood of the club I feel that supporters have every right to express their anger at the way 'owners' act. Abramovich has acted like a complete tool and used the club as a rich mans plaything and the supporters do right to tell him that they disagree.

Take a look at our club. If the supporters hadn't started getting angry with Hill and if we had all been happy clappers pretending we were happy with everything I firmly believe he would still be our manager and we would be at the foot of the table. Supporters got angry, they expressed that anger on the radio, on here, in pubs and started to at games as well, chanting for Hassell, booing his team selection etc. It took a matter of days for him to be sacked and we have not looked back since.

    its not been all bad.

They've done everything but the game between the champions league winners vs the europa winners and the club world cup in 9 years.

There the most successful team in England over the last 9/10 years.

Pity you aren't old enough to remember top flight football when the Premier League didn't exist as your opinions would be different.

I don't think that's a fair comparison. The supporters having a go while Hill was in charge was because they wanted him out. There's no way that Di Matteo will be reinstated. I think it's time they moved on, it's just counterproductive.

Surely the fans should get behind Benitez, after all, he didn't cause Di Matteo's demise. He's been doomed from the start and I think deep down, the Chelsea fans want him to fail.

Exactly, they want their own club to fail. No time or effort for them.

The paying fans can say whatever they want. It's up to the fat waiter to win them around.

    3 premier leagues
    4 Fa Cups
    2 football league cup
    4 community shields
    Uefa Champions league

Best 10 years in Chelsea's history. 14 pieces of silver.
Yes, the community shield isn't the best but it takes something to win it.

When new managers take the jobs of popular managers who get the sack, then they have to expect flak. Watching Huddersfield in cup, Robins could be in for a Roller Coaster, they are *****.
